PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hanging-down type molten metal pouring apparatus, with which the molten metal can safely be poured into a mold from a ladle with a suitable molten metal pouring speed corresponding to the pouring quantity by easily tilting the ladle with only one worker regardless of this skillfulness without needing the drastical reconstruction of casting equipment. SOLUTION: Turning shaft rods 11 projected to the outer parts at both sides are arranged near a pouring portion 10a apart from the center of gravity of the ladle 10, and the turning shaft rods 11 of the ladle 10 are supported so as to be attachable/detachable with a hanging tool 13 hung down from a over- head crane, etc., and the ladle 10 is tilted with the turning shaft rods 11 as the center 12 fixed to the hanging tool 13.
