PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an org. waste treating device by which org. waste is surely, efficiently and economically treated by the use of the power for a special time zone such as midnight power. SOLUTION: This org. waste treating device is provided with a storage tank for org. waste, an electric heater 10 set in a heating chamber provided around the outside of the bottom of the tank, a blower 14 for blowing heated air into the tank, an agitation mechanism furnished with an impeller to agitate the org. waste in the tank and an operation controller 20 receiving specified power to control and drive the heater 10, blower 14, an agitation motor 33 and an automatic-door mechanism 40. The operation controller 20 is furnished with a first timer 21 starting to count when it is supplied with power to set the treating time and a second timer 22 starting to count during the time limiting action of the first timer to set the time to discharge the treated org. waste from the tank.
