PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bottle inspecting machine for detecting a refraction flaw and extracting a shading flaw at the same time. SOLUTION: A machine for inspecting the wall of the bottle 10 continuously fed to an inspection station by a conveyor 12 is disclosed. A light source 16 demarcates a plurality of vertical light emitting diode row groups each having no black row but having a bright (white) row and a plurality of adjacent rows and, in the groups rows, the intensity of light is systematically reduced to the min. level capable of observing a shading flaw and systematically increased as compared with the next white row. |
