PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a humidifier which operates while changing a set humidity in response to a temperature so that viruses such as influenza viruses may be inactivated. SOLUTION: This humidifier is equipped with a humidity sensor 2 which detects an indoor humidity, a temperature sensor 3 which detects an indoor temperature, a memory section 4 wherein the relative relationship data between temperature and humidifies by which influenza viruses are inactivated is stored, a judgement section 5 which always compares and judges a room temperature detected by the temperature sensor 3 and the temperature stored in the memory section 4, and performs an automatic setting of a humidity by which the influenza virus is inactivated, and a control section 6 which controls a humidifying operation based on the set humidity which is automatically set by the judgement section. |
