PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep a coil spring always in an initial setting position or an offset initial setting position so as to prevent a coil spring form rotating in a coil winding circumference direction. SOLUTION: In a spring seat S of a shock absorber type or strut type automobile suspension device which is inserted and attached to a shock absorber through an attachment part 1 so as to support a coil spring K arranged to maintain a spring load action line 03 coaxial or offset against a shock absorber rod center 01, a spiral spring support surface 2 facing a wind-up end portion K1 of the coil spring K, plural locking pieces 3a, 3b, 3c, 3d standing up outside of the spring support surface 2, three projections 5a, 5b, 5c separately provided on the spring support surface 2 along a spiral direction, an inclined step part 4 provided at a terminal end of the spring support surface 2 are formed. The contact surface of the wind-up end portion K1 is mounted on the three projection 5a, 5b, 5c while maintaining contact of a base end K2 of the coil spring K on the inclined step part 4. |
