发明名称 MANUFACTURE OF EFFECTIVE MATERIAL FROM WASTE GLASS MATERIAL
摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an effective material from waste glass by providing a first stage wherein the waste glass material is broken and a second stage wherein a glass piece having a pointed part formed by breaking in the first stage is heated so that the pointed part becomes obtuse. SOLUTION: When an effective material is manufactured from waste glass material, first the waste glass material is broken and then a glass piece having a pointed part formed by breaking is heated so that the pointed part becomes obtuse and then cooled. Thereby, substitute sand used at seaside, a pond, a water tank, a garden or the like can be easily manufactured from waste glass with a cheap cost. And heating is carried out on a condition that a welding preventing agent which prevents welding of glass pieces each other is added to the glass pieces. As the welding preventing agent, a material whose melting point is higher than that of the glass piece, such as powder of a mineral, e.g. aluminum hydroxide powder, kaolin, etc., are used. The heating temperature is in a temperature range of from a softening temperature to a melting temperature of the glass piece material, actually from about 730 deg.C to about 900 deg.C.
