PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fix reliably a humeral articulation by providing a belt to prevent a humeral articulation from posteriory elevating from elevating that connects an antebrachium holding portion from a healthy side shoulder through a healthy side auxiliary fossa in a suspension belt hung from the neck in a fixing orthosis used to fix a damaged humeral articulation. SOLUTION: A humeral articulation fixing orthosis is structured by providing an antebrachium holding portion 2 into which an antebrachium is put, a suspension belt 1, and a belt 3 to prevent a humeral articulation from posteriory elevating branching from the suspension belt 1 whose length is adjustable. Both ends of the suspension belt 1 are provided in a manner that allows the length and the position of the branching portion of the humeral articulation posteriorly elevation prevention belt 3 to be adjusted. When suspending the antebrachium holding section 2 from the neck by the suspension belt 1, adjustment is made so that the branching portion of the belt 3 may be located on the healthy side shoulder, whereby even in the case that a patient stays up or is lying supinely, the humeral articulation can be prevented from getting into a posteriorly elevated state and the humeral articulation is fixed stably, improving the healing effect.
