PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To commonize axles on the opposite sides which are to be connected. SOLUTION: This differential gear is provided with a differential case 3, a bevel gear type differential mechanism 7, a main clutch 29 and a pilot clutch 27 for differential restriction of the differential mechanism 7, and a cam mechanism 33 for increasing fastening force of the pilot clutch 27 to fasten the main clutch 29. The differential mechanism 7 is disposed between the main clutch 29 and the pilot clutch 27.
