摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the exchange frequency of a detector by detecting a radiation dose in a rector to evaluate the change amount of a radiation ray by control rod operation on occasion, and generating an abnormal signal at the when the value is a predicted value or more to prohibit the control rod operation. SOLUTION: A gamma ray in a reactor is detected with a gamma ray detector 11 to monitor the distribution of an incore axis direction with a gamma thermo-meter 12, and both output is converted into reactor output a by a gamma ray signal processing means 13. A control rod 7 is operated with a control rod drive device 8, and operation information is input to a gamma ray change prediction means 14. The gamma ray change prediction means 14 predicts and calculates the change amount of a gamma ray accompanying the operation of a control rod 7 at the position of the gamma ray detector 11 from the fuel constitution, arrangement and record of incore data and the operation condition of a flow rate or the like. The output of the gamma ray change prediction means 14 and the gamma ray signal processing means 13 is input to an abnormality detection means 16, the prediction value and the actual measured strength of a gamma ray change amount the compared with each other, in the case where the actual measured value is high, an abnormal signal is output and pulling of the control rod 7 is prohibited.
