PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for purifying lakes, marshes, or the like, which grows an aquatic plant, e.g. water lily, shields light by the grown plant to prevent the growth of harmful algae, e.g. water bloom growing by photosynthesis. SOLUTION: This device, to be stretched under water in an area into which eutrophication-causing materials (e.g. nitrogen or phosphorus) flow, comprises a net 1 woven from ropes which hold a number of seeds of aquatic plant 3 (e.g. water lily), floats 2 which suspend the net 1 at a given depth in water, a straightening vane 5 having floats 8, the vane 5 supporting the upstream side of the net 1, having a hinge 6 at the middle to be driven to open and bending to the downstream side at both ends when water streams vigorously, and mooring ropes 10 and 11 which motor the straightening vane 5. |
