PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a readily ingestible dietary fiber granule showing excellent water dispersibility, having ready solubility in the mouth even at a low temperature by making the dietary fiber granule include a water-soluble dietary fiber and an insoluble dietary fiber as dietary fibers. SOLUTION: This dietary fiber is obtained by formulating 10 pts.wt. of one or more water-soluble dietary fibers selected from slightly digestible dextrin, pectin and guar gum decomposition product with 0.1-1 pt.wt. of an insoluble dietary fiber composed of one or more complex type dietary fibers selected from beet fiber, apple fiber, corn fiber and wheat fiber and granulating the mixture by a fluidized bed granulation, or the like, has excellent water dispersibility, is readily soluble in warm water, cold water and in the mouth, easily digestible and has an improving effect on bowel movement, carbohydrate metabolism, lipid metabolism, or the like. |
