PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the time of construction of a road surface indicating material and improve the durability by laminating a hot melt adhesive having specified elasticity and softening point on one side of a base material having a specified softening point. SOLUTION: The base material of this road surface indicating material has a softening point of 90 deg.C or higher in order to ensure the durability, and it contains, for example, a material capable of reflecting light at night such as an inorganic filler in a resin such as ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymerized resin as occasion demands. A hot melt adhesive 2 to be laminated on the base material 1 has an elasticity at 23 deg.C of 106Pa-1010Pa in order to prevent the slippage after the adhesion onto a road surface and keep the adhesive strength or durability and also a softening point of 90 deg.C or lower in order to enhance the adhesion. The inorganic filler content in the hot melt adhesive 2 is set to 1/2 in the base material 1, so that the heating from the other side of the indicating material causes no difficulty is caused in the adhesion of the indicating material to the road when it is heated to 90-150 deg.C from the other side of the indicating material. According to this, the road surface indicating material can be stuck to the road surface in a short time and exhibit sufficient adhesive strength after the adhesion.
