PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow each sharing user to easily confirm whether or not charging is correctly performed by notifying the user of use charges that take place by renting a corresponding shared object to be used through display, etc., each time a rented key is returned. SOLUTION: A digital processor 1 reads the accumulated use charges of a sharing user having this identifier from a use history and charge file stored in a data memory 2 and displays the accumulated use charges on a displaying part 5 composed of a liquid crystal panel, etc. Next, the processor 1 issues a command to a key locking/releasing part 4 to make the part 4 release the locked state of the key and extracts the key. The part 4 detects that the key has been extracted, the key is returned to its locked state, the date and hour when the key is rented and the identifier of the key whose extraction is detected are written in the user history and charge file of a format on the memory 2, a flag showing that the key is rented is made on, and key renting processing is finished.
