PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent irregular transfer from occurring at the time of transferring an image from a 1st image carrier to an intermediate transfer body and at the time of transferring it from the intermediate transfer body to a 2nd image carrier so as to obtain excellent image characteristic by performing heating-processing while moving a roll-like rigid body with respect to a heating device in the case of performing the heating-processing. SOLUTION: The roll-like rigid body 201 is covered with a tube-like film 202 having a fold and heated. The rigid body 201 and the film 202 are rotated in a peripheral direction in an oven 203. This method is effective when heating air in the oven blows out to the surface of the rigid body 201 from a vertical direction. When the rigid body 201 is fixed, the temperature difference from an opposite side of the heating air blowing out from the vertical direction is made but is uniformized by the rotating motion. It is conceivable to use a method in which the rigid body 201 and the film 202 are rotated in the oven 203 with a center in a longitudinal direction as an axis.
