<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a toner which satisfies blocking resistance, allows low- temperature fixing, makes it possible to obtain sufficiently image densities even at and under low temperature and low humidity and is free of degradation in image quality in spite of endurance by lightly adhering pigment t particles to resin particles and fixing the adhered pigments into the inside of the particles. SOLUTION: The pigment particles are lightly adhered to the resin particles in a first step. Namely, the resin particles and the pigment particles are mixed by a dry process and the pigments are adhered to the resin particle surfaces by mechanical agitation. The adhered pigments are fixed to the inside of the particles in a second step. The particles adhered with the pigments are dispersed into a medium which itself does not dissolve but dissolves a softening agent, into which the softening agent is dissolved. The softening agent is selectively absorbed in the colored particles and simultaneously the pigments on the particle surfaces are fixed in the form oil drops into the particles by lowering the solubility of the softening agent in the medium. As a result, the toner, which is free from composition of the particles with each other and is free from the lacking of the pigments is produced even if Tg of the resin is low, is produced.</p> |
