PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide resin compositions capable of rendering a liquid crystal polymer fibrous in a molded article to exhibit a reinforcing effect and stably producing molded article having excellent mechanical strengths. SOLUTION: Thermoplastic resin compositions comprise 100 pts.wt. sum of (A) 99-50 pts.wt. thermoplastic polyester based resin which does not form an anisotropic melt phase and (B) 1-50 pts.wt. liquid crystal polymer which can form an anisotropic melt phase, and (C) 0.001-2.0 pts.wt. at least one member selected from monoesters and diesters of a phosphorus oxo-acid represented by formula I: (X)nP(=O)(OR)3-n and formula II: (X)nP(OR)3-n (wherein n is 1 or 2; X is a hydrogen atom, a hydroxy group or a monovalent organic group, and when X is plural, the Xs may be the same or different; and R is a monomvalent organic group, and when R is plural, the Rs may be the same or different). |
