摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain the discharge quantity for set conditions and an actual output by providing a T-valve at the apex of the discharge riser pipe of a test pump, inserting a cylinder valve into the upper section, and calculating and loading the bob weight corresponding to the test pressure water head in the discharge riser pipe. SOLUTION: A T-valve 11 is provided on the secondary side fully opened with the outlet valve 5 of the discharge riser pipe 3 of the test pump 1 of a pump tester, and bobs 13, 14 are loaded on a cylinder valve rod 12 while (pressure water head×cross sectional area = bob weight) is calculated each time the set conditions of the test pressure water head are changed. When the test pump 1 is operated, water is sucked from an intake pipe 2, hydraulic power is propagated by discharged high-speed shock waves, a cylinder valve rod 12 loaded with the weight corresponding to the pressure water head is lifted, and water is discharged into a guide pipe 6. The discharged water flows into a measuring weir 7 from the guide pipe 6 to measure the flow. An actual output is measured by the whole water head on the secondary side of a pressure gauge 4 provided on the discharge pipe 3. The shaft seal packing 15 of a cylinder is fastened with a release preventing housing 16.
