ANTENNA FOR UNDERGROUND SEARCH RADAR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna for an underground search radar which can search underground while moving in a narrow space. SOLUTION: An antenna body 46 with an antenna element 71 is mounted to the vicinity of an open end of a bottomed antenna housing 45 of aluminum. A supporting plate 75 having conductors 77 and 78 for earthling to prevent unnecessary radiation of electromagnetic waves is set between a bottom 57 and the antenna element 71 in a storage space 70. A balun 79 connected to the antenna element 71 is fixed in a flat posture onto the supporting plate 75, and a connector 47 is set to a side wall 58 of the antenna housing 45. A connector 126 for cable is made detachable to the connector 47 and a flexible cable 53 is connected to the connector 47.
