COMPLEX PARTICLE FOR ELECTRIC RHEOLOGY FLUID AND ELECTRIC RHEOLOGY FLUID

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain complex particles for electric rheology fluid and electric rheology fluid in which stabilized electric rheology effect and good storage stability are maintained without precipitating complex particles in a dispersion medium under long-time standing condition. SOLUTION: The complex particles for electric rheology fluid is dispersed into an electrical insulating medium to constitute an electric rheology fluid. The complex particles comprise a core body 11 composed of an organic polymer compound and a surface layer 12 comprising electrosemiconductive inorganic particles 13 applying the core body 11. Affinity surface treatment is applied to the surface layer 12 in order to increase affinity to the electrical insulating medium. The complex particles are used for electric rheology fluid.
