PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize the effect of hot water filling time lag incident to operation of a water level sensor by detecting a reference water level only once through a water level sensor after the quantity of hot water being supplied to a bathtub is detected through a flow rate sensor. SOLUTION: The automatic bath unit comprises an operating section receiving a set hot water filling quantity of a bathtub 40, a hot water injection circuit 10 for supplying hot water to the bathtub 40, a flow rate sensor 12 for detecting the quantity of hot water being supplied from the hot water injection circuit 10, a water level sensor 25 for detecting the water level in the bathtub 40, and a control section 30 for supplying hot water to the bathtub 40 until a set hot water filling quantity is reached based on the quantity of hot water supply detected by the flow rate sensor 12 and detecting the water level in the bathtub 40 through the water level sensor 25 upon finishing hot water supply thereto.
