<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for precisely detecting matters which may directly lead to troubles out of meandering and to provide a meandering control means for properly changing a roll gap by this manner. SOLUTION: At the time of continuously rolling a base stock with a continuous mill, amplitude of vibration in a height direction generated in end parts of a rolled stock is measured between two continuous rolling stands 2A, 2B of the continuous mill. Based on the amplitude of vibration, degree of meandering of the rolled stock 1 is discriminated and leveling of the two rolling stands in controlled so as to suppress the meandering of the rolled stock 1.</p> |
