<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently crush an existing pipe while hardly damaging a new pipe or breaking a joint portion by providing a crushing means radially compressing and crushing the existing pipe inserted with the new pipe inside so that no crushing force is applied to the new pipe as the existing pipe is crushed. SOLUTION: This existing pipe crushing device A is provided with a crushing means 4 fastening, radially compressing, and crushing an existing pipe 3 inserted with a new pipe 3 inside and buried underground so that no crushing force is applied to the new pipe 2 as the existing pipe 3 is crushed.
