<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variable displacement swash plate type compressor to improve a starting characteristic of the compressor. SOLUTION: This variable displacement swash plate type compressor comprises a discharge chamber 12 to discharge the refrigerant gas from a compression chamber 22, an outlet 3a to feed the refrigerant gas in the discharge chamber 12 to a high-pressure side pipe P, a communication passage 60 to communicate the discharge chamber 12 with the outlet 3a, a crank case 8 to store a swash plate 10 to determine the piston stroke, an oil separation chamber 61 provided midway of the communication passage 60, and an oil introduction passage 62 to lead the oil O in the oil separation chamber 61 to the crank case 8, and the refrigerant is carbon dioxide. In this case, an outlet 62d of the oil introduction passage 62 is faced to a lower part of the crank case 8.</p> |
