PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitor controller in which the increase of a plant and the change of equipment can easily be reflected and whose versatility is high. SOLUTION: A monitor controller 1 controlling the monitoring of the operation state of a plant having plural units is provided with sensor means 29a(#1 to 3) and 29b(#1 to 3) which are installed for respective measuring means measuring process data of the plant and which are constructed by an object directional program obtaining process data measured by the corresponding measuring means and interface means 27a and 27b which are installed for the respective units controlling monitoring and which are constructed by the object directional program obtaining process data from the corresponding sensor means.
