PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water supply mechanism for a private part washing device advantageous for suppressing pressure seclusion caused by water hammer phenomenon. SOLUTION: This water supply mechanism is assembled in a private part washing device having a private part washing part washing a private part of a human body by injecting water and has a body 20 having a water supply port 3 connected with a water supply pipe W, a discharge port 29 connected with private part washing parts 14, 15, and a water passing passage 21 communicating the water supply port 3 with the discharge port. A cut-off valve 4 switchable into a water passing condition and a cut off condition is provided between the water supply port 3 and the discharge port 29 among water passing passages 21. A check valve 6 which allows a flow of water from the water supply port 3 toward the discharge port but prevents a flow of water from the discharge port toward the water supply port 3 is provided in the water passing passage 21. The check valve 6 is provided between the cut-off valve 4 and the discharge port in the water passing passage 21 so that it is on the secondary side of the cut-off valve 4.
