PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide another simple method for measuring the weight of filler combined with a scanning head. SOLUTION: The method is for measuring the weight of filler combined with the scanning head 1 of a coordinate measuring machine having a control device. The weight of the filler 3 is statically measured without actively controlling the motion of the filler due to the coordinate measuring machine and a signal is sent from the filler 3 or the scanning head 1 to the control device 51 at that moment.
