PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a condensing unit in refrigeration system for ground transportation in which the size can be reduced while ensuring sufficient supply of cooling outer air over the entire surface of a radiator and a condenser. SOLUTION: An engine 3, a motor 5, a compressor 4 being driven through the engine 3 or the motor 5, a radiator 8 for cooling the cooling water of the engine 3, and a condenser 7 for condensing refrigerant compressed by the compressor 4 are disposed in the casing 2 of a condensing unit 1. The motor 5 and the compressor 4 have a double shaft structure provided, at one end thereof, with pulleys 12, 11 for transmitting power and, at the other end thereof, with cooling fans 6a, 6b for the condenser 7 and the radiator 8 juxtaposed oppositely to the condenser 7.
