PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve sorting performance automatically corresponding to fluctuations in flow rates in a cylinder. SOLUTION: The soybean sorter sorts particles into large ones and small ones by a rotary particle sorting cylinder 2 in whose peripheral surface sorting holes 1 are made and which are laterally hung in a gradually inclined state. The inclined angle of the rotary particle sorting cylinder 2 can be changed and adjusted by the detected quantity of a flow rate sensor S for detecting flow rates in the cylinder, and the flow rate sensor S is installed near to the outlet side 4 in the rotary particle sorting cylinder 2. And several diffusion members are installed in the rotating axial direction along the inner peripheral surface of the rotary particle sorting cylinder 2, and a base end on the outlet side 4 of a diffusing member is fitted to the inner peripheral surface and the inlet side 3 is made a free end, and by a load of flowing soybean, position change to an inclined installation state is made. And the diffusion member has its base end folded to preferably form an antislipping surface connected to an action surface, and the diffusion member itself is preferably constituted of elastic material.
