PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high density electroconductive sintered body whose electroconductivity can be controlled over a wide temp. range according to its use or the environments wherein it is used, a method for producing the same, an electroconductive coating film being produced using the same material as that of the electroconductive sintered body and a method for producing the electroconductive coating film. SOLUTION: The electroconductive sintered body is obtained by weighing a prescribed amount of each powder of Y2O3, SrCO3, Cr2O3, Al2O3, ZrO2 and Fe2O3, wet mixing the powders, drying the resultant mixture, calcining the dried mixture at 1,200 to 1,400 deg.C under the atmosphere to obtain a calcined powder, thereafter adding a prescribed amount of SiO2 powder having an average particle size of 0.1 to 0.7μm to the calcined powder, wet mixing, further drying the obtained slury forming a formed body having a prescribed shape by a uniaxial forming or hydrostatic pressing and finally sintering the formed body at 1,450 to 1,650 deg.C under the atmosphere. The electroconductive coating film is formed on the surface of a substrate made of a ceramics or the like using aqueous solutions or an organic solvent solutions containing each compound of Y, Sr, Cr, Al and Zr.
