PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide low Cr heat resistant cast steel excellent in high temp. rupture strength and toughness and excellent in cost effectiveness. SOLUTION: This steel contains C, Si, Mn, Ni, Cr, V, W, Mo, Nb and N in the following ranges in accordance with each element, by weight, of 0.05 to 0.11% C, 0.1 to 0.4% Si, 0.01 to 0.5% Mn, 0.01 to 0.5% Ni, 2.0 to 2.5% Cr, 0.15 to 0.35% V, 2.0 to 3.0% W, 0.3 to 0.6% Mo, 0.04 to 0.09% Nb and 0.005 to 0.04% N, in which Mo+W/2 satisfies 1.5 to 1.9%, and the balance substantial Fe with inevitable impurities.
