PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a water level indicator that can accurately measure a water level. SOLUTION: In the water level indictor, at least two water-level detection part with an inflow port and water storage part are provided, and each water- level detection part is arranged at different height without overlapping in a height direction. In a water level indicator 2, a plurality of water-level detection parts 6 being formed in a straight-pipe container where a top part is open on the surface of a cylindrical retention body 4 are mounted. In the water-level detection part 6, an upper opening is set to a water inflow port 8, and the lower part of the upper opening is set to a water storage part 10, The plurality of water-level detection parts 6 are spirally arranged on the outer-periphery surface of the retention body 4 so that the inflow port 8 is set to different height. The water level indicator 2 is suspended at a measurement place, and the highest water storage part 10 is recorded out of the water storage part 10 where water is stored by pulling up the water level indicator when a water level is detected.
