PURPOSE: An one panel head mounted display is provided, which has a simple configuration by making images of equal size on the left and right eye by making shapes of a left and a right eye lens different without using a lens for controlling a light path length. CONSTITUTION: An LCD panel(210) displays an image, and a backlight(220) emits a light to the LCD panel by being arranged on a rear part of the LCD panel. A partial reflection mirror(230) reflects a part of a light including an image from the LCD panel and transmits a part of the light according to an established ratio. The first eye lens(240) images the transmitted image light from the partial reflection mirror on a right eye. A total reflection mirror(250) changes a path of the image light reflected from the partial reflection mirror by reflecting the image light again toward a direction of the left eye of a person. And the second eye lens(260) images the image light reflected from the total reflection mirror on the left eye by changing its size to be equal to the image light imaged on the right eye.
