PURPOSE: A hinge apparatus of a tilting headrest is provided to adjust the angle of a headrest body by turning a supporting rod relatively in a hinge part, and to improve endurance by reducing friction to the headrest body with rotating around the end of the supporting rod. CONSTITUTION: A tilting headrest is composed of a hinge part(30) turning a supporting rod(20) in a body supporting frame(11) supporting a body; and an auxiliary guide unit covering the hinge part, and guiding the supporting rod within the range of the set angle. The hinge part consists of two disk springs(34,34-1) settled between a rivet head(33-1) assembling the frame with a flat part(23) of the supporting rod and the frame, a first washer(36-1) placed between the disk spring and the frame, and second and third washers(36-2,36-3) inserted to a hinge rod(33) at both sides of the flat part. The angle of the headrest body is adjusted with rotating the supporting rod relatively in the hinge part, and damage is prevented with adjusting the angle by the auxiliary connecting unit.
