摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To deal with even a high density disk and to maintain compatibility with a standard disk by recording an address value in an area for respective kinds of minute, second and frame information of eight bits with the binary code of 24 bits. SOLUTION: A track number is recorded by 8 bits of data Q9-Q16 but in a read-in area, the track number is fixed to '00'. A point is recorded by eight bits of following data Q17-Q24, continuously, the minute, second and frame of intra-track time passage are recorded by 8 bits of data Q25-Q32, Q33-Q40 and Q41-Q48, all 8 bits of data Q49-Q56 are turned into '0' and PMIN, PSEC and PFRAME are recorded by 8 bits of respective data Q57-Q64, Q65-Q72 and Q73-Q80 so that each of value can have meaning. When the point value is from '01' to '99', that value means the track number and concerning the PMIN, PSEC and PFRAME, the start point of that track number is recorded as minutes, seconds and frames.
