PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to use the same excavator as that used for construction of a lining structural body also for inside wall construction and to shorter a construction period of time as well as the curtailment of a construction cost thereby. SOLUTION: This construction method for an underground structure includes a process for arranging a plurality of longer first elements 1 for inside wall having the approximately same outline dimension of a section as that of a lining element 19 so as to link with an upper floor slab 15 to insert them into a natural ground and connecting the neighboring firt elements 1 to each other, a process for inserting longer second elements 2 for the inside wall inside of the first elements 1 in the longitudinal direction to connect the highest stage of the second elements 2 is connected to the upper floor slab 15, at the same time, the neighboring second elements 2 are connected to each other and dividing inside wall concrete spaces 23 in conjunction with the second elements 2 only or the first elements 1, a process for constructing by casting concrete in the inside wall concrete casting spaces 23, and a process for excavating the natural ground surrounded by the upper floor slab, side walls and inside wall to remove the first elements 1 other than the first elements used for the division of the inside wall spaces 23.
