PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly and securely communicate information between a IC card and a roadside equipment. SOLUTION: Since the memory in the IC card has a slow access speed, a high-speed memory is provided in an on-vehicle equipment, and collection information in the IC card is temporarily read in the high-speed memory to exchange information on toll collection between the high-speed memory and roadside equipment. After the collection, the collection information in the high-speed memory is moved to the memory in the IC memory. Further, the loaded state of the IC card is continuously checked. |
