PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable optical information reader improving the operability of a key input part and improving the visibility of an LED display unit. SOLUTION: A key input part 5 constituted of ten keys 6, a function key 7 and a control key 8 and an LED display unit 20 are installed in the main body case 2 of a bar code reader 1. A difference in level that can be recognized by the feeling of a finger is formed in the arranging face of the function key 7 of the main body case 2 and the arranging face of the ten keys 6 so that the function key 7 can be operated by blind touch. Since the LED display unit 20 is bar-displayed in an oblong shape, the display range of LED becomes large and the visibility of an operator improves. |
