PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bolt and a nut smoothly thread-fastened even in the presence of a metal lump and a paint lump stuck to a thread part. SOLUTION: A bolt is provided with a normal thread part 3 that can be normally thread-fastened to a mating internal thread, and a cylindrical guide part 4 continuous with the lower part of the normal thread part 3 and having an outer diameter smaller than the thread inner diameter of the mating internal thread. The guide part 4 has a slotted part 5 formed being partially cut out from the bottom part, a longitudinal groove 7 axially extending over at least one streak of thread from the side peripheral surface, and a cutout part 6. A nut has a normal thread part that can be normally thread-fastened to a mating external thread, and thread cutout parts extending over at least one streak of thread in a plurality of angle positions equally divided in the circumferential direction of a thread-fastening start part.
