PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a partition device for veranda capable of ensuring a refuge exit easily and securely in an emergency so as not to obstruct passing through of a person. SOLUTION: A partition device for veranda 1 having a partition wall 11 composed of a plurality of partition panels P1 to P10 is erected on a veranda 3 at the same story of a high rise multiple dwelling house such as a condominium. Each partition panel P1 to P10 can be vertically displaced in vertical frames 12a, 12b, and continuous and vertically adjacent partition panels P1 to P10 are mutually connected by each connection member so that angular displacement becomes possible. While the partition panel P1 in an uppermost part of the partition wall 11 is held by a holding means 24 provided on an intermediate muntin 14, it is possible to form the partition wall 11 in a partition frame 10 and partition the veranda 3 per house. When a hold condition by means of holding means 24a, 24b is released, the partition wall 11 lowers downward due to its self-weight and is folded down to form a refuge exit above the partition frame 10 so that a person can take refuge by passing through the refuge exit in an emergency.
