PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize a whole throttle valve control device by fitting a cover member covering a reduction gear to a throttle body, fitting a throttle sensor at a position facing the end section of a throttle valve shaft, on the cover member, and forming a recess supporting the rotary shaft of the reduction gear on the inner face of the cover member. SOLUTION: The throttle valve shaft 3 of a throttle valve 1 is rotatably supported on a throttle body 2 and is rotated by a motor 6 for an opening adjustment, i.e., the driving force from the motor 6 is transferred to the throttle valve shaft 3 via an electromagnetic clutch 8, a reduction gear 10a meshed with the reduction gear 8a of the throttle valve shaft 3, and a reduction gear 10b fixed to the throttle valve shaft 3. The rotary shaft 10c of the reduction gear 10a is supported on a recess 2a formed on the inner wall face of a cover member 2A, and a throttle sensor 16 detecting the throttle valve opening is fitted at a position facing the end section of the throttle valve shaft 3 on the cover member 2A. An accelerator sensor 17 detecting the action position of a throttle lever 11b is also provided. |
