摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve the variability superior in adaptability of damping characteristics with a simple structure by comprising two masses relatively rotatably supported, and a wedge interlocked with a frictional device acting between the masses. SOLUTION: A damper comprises a primary mass and a secondary mass, both masses are interlocked to each other through a spring-friction device 3, and the secondary mass 2 is relatively rotatably supported with respect to the primary mass 1 in a bearing metal formed by a second structural group 4 of the primary mass 1. A wedge 5 is mounted in a corresponding small chamber 6, the small chamber 6 has a friction surface 8 on the outside in the radial direction, and the wedge 5 is contacted with the friction surface 8. The wedge 5 is free to the ignorable friction, but is interlocked by a spring device 3 within a range of the possible magnitude. By applying this constitution, the damping action is reduced when the rotational amplitude between masses is small, and is largely produced when the rotational amplitude between masses is large, and simultaneously the large damping action can be produced when a rotating speed is high, and the small damping action can be reduced when the rotating speed is low.
