摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a heat insulation material having considerably lower cost than that of chaff and artificial heat insulation material by charging a wasted inorganic fibrous filter into an iron tapping runner for blast furnace. SOLUTION: The inorganic fibrous filter discharged from a gas turbine, etc., is charged into the iron tapping hole for blast furnace and fused and the fused product is joined into a water granulating trough. In this way, the wasted inorganic fibrous filter can effectively be applied to the heat insulation material for preventing from the development of shell-like film by cooling the surface of the iron tapping hole for blast furnace and the molten iron and the molten slag granulating trough from the iron tapping hole. In such a case, only the inorganic material in the filter, or an aluminum sheet or an iron sheet contained therein as it is, and further, it can be used by mixing coke and lime, etc., into the inorganic fibrous filter to improve the heat insulation property. The blast furnace slag quantity is increased by adding the fused product, but the composition of the inorganic fibrous filter is not different so much to that of the blast furnace slag, and even the inorganic fibrous filter is added, a toxic substance is not developed, and since this addition is quantitatively little, the quantity of the blast furnace slag is not damaged.
