PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing tablets, by which the tableting operation can stably by continued for a long time to efficiently produce the tablets. SOLUTION: This method for producing tablets comprises tableting by using a compression tableting machine having a pestle with a surface roughness RA of 1 to 40μm, or blowing air having a humidity of <=50% and a temperature of 0 to 40 deg.C on the tableting surface of the pestle and then tableting using the pestle.
