PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove a solid or the like from water to be treated and to adjust the pH of water to be treated to separate and remove a harmful dissolved substance. SOLUTION: A plurality of separation tanks each of which is constituted by attaching a sedimentation tank to a filter tank including zeolite particles or fossil shell particles as a filter material are arranged in series and an air diffusing means is arranged to the lower part of the filter tank and a sludge collecting recessed part is formed on the bottom part of the sedimentation tank and a sludge discharge pump is disposed at the sludge collecting recessed part and a water supply means is connected to the filter tank on the upstream side and a discharge tank is connected to the most downstream sedimentation tank and a sludge discharge pump is disposed to the discharge tank to constitute a turbid water cleaning apparatus.
