PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To completely automate a stable conveying supply work without damaging by preventing overturning of articles in a step of handling many cylindrical articles easily damaged such as medical ampoules. SOLUTION: The container supply device is provided with a flexible belt 6 in the state that it stands along a container side surface standing on a supply conveyor 1. The flexible belt 6 is pulled to a direction crossing a conveying direction of the supply conveyor 1 such that a container a is closed to a star wheel 2 while a densely aggregated state of the container a is maintained. Accumulation force extension mechanisms 8, 9 are provided on one end or both ends of the flexible belt 6 directly or through a slider 7. The flexible belt 6 is expandably/shrinkably disposed which is expanded to a curved shape between restriction walls 10, 11 provided along both sides of the supply conveyor 1.
