PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To satisfy a specifications draft for a specified near-end crosstalk and to reduce signal propagation delay time difference to a specific value or less by forming an interposing material in a rod-shaped body which has almost a circular cross section with a diameter larger than a specified value, when plural pair stranded cables produced by intertwisting at different pitches two core wires each covered with an insulator are intertwisted around the interposing material. SOLUTION: This communication cable is produced by intertwisting four pair stranded cables 1 around an interposing material 2, and four pair stranded cables 1 are produced by intertwisting two core wires each formed at different pitches by covering a 0.53 mm diameter conductor with an insulating layer made of polyolefin based thermoplastic resin. By forming the interposing material 2 in a rod shape having almost a circular cross section, having a diameter of 1.19d or larger when the diameter of the cover wire is (d), even if the pitch difference between the pair stranded cables 1 is made small so as to have a signal propagation delay time difference of 25 nS/100 m or smaller, near-end crosstalk is made small, and the specifications draft for a near-end crosstalk of category 6 can be satisfied.
