PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for mounting a bracket for a heat-exchanger to high-precisely and reliably join the bracket with a side plate. SOLUTION: This mounting method is that heat-exchange tubes and fins are alternately laminated and situated between a pair of headers and a bracket 20 is mounted on a heat-exchanger situated at a side plate outside a fin on the outermost side. A rise piece 11 is situated at the side plate along two side edges. The bracket 20 is situated at a base end part and a joining block 22 contained between two side pieces 11 of the side plate. The joining block 22 is contained between the rise pieces 11 on both sides of the side plate, the rise pieces tips 11a on both sides are caulked and temporarily held. A part of the rise piece 11 is pressed for deformation and forced into pressure contact with the joining block 22 to fix a position. With this state, the joining block 22 is integrated with the side plate by brazing.
