PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the optical transmission body array having an excellent image forming characteristic and having few distortion of a transmission picture. SOLUTION: This optical transmission body array is formed by arraying plural number of optical transmission bodies 3 having the distribution of refractive index that the refractive index is continuously reduced from the center of circular cross section toward the outer peripheral part. The standard deviation of optical axis irregularity per the unit length (Z0) of the optical transmission body obtained by being measured with the measuring device, which is provided with the light source device for condensing light in the image surface and moreover introducing light only into one optical transmission body, the light receiving sensor for confirming the image forming position in an image forming surface, and the means for adjusting the relative position between the light source device and the optical transmission body array and between the light receiving sensor and the optical transmission body array so as to introduce light into respective optical transmission bodies, is specified to below 0.7 (μm/Z0).
