PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To preclude possibility of forgotten reservation or incorrect reservation by making automatic reservation possible so as to relieve a load of a viewer even if a television receiver and a recorder are separately configured. SOLUTION: An automatic reservation recording system mutually interlocks a television receiver 2 to view a broadcast program and VTRs 3a, 3b to record the broadcast program onto a video recording tape, is provided with a program information acquisition means 35 to enter schedule information of the broadcast program, a view program storage device 22 that stores view information being view history information of the broadcast program via the television receiver 2, and a recording reservation controller 33 that selects a broadcast program to reserve recording onto the VTRs on the basis of the schedule information of the broadcast program entered via the program information acquisition means 35 and view information stored in the view program storage device 22.
