PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the subject method and apparatus capable of achieving traceability unnecessary for allowing an inspector to be permanently stationed. SOLUTION: A process (a) continuously taking out the molded articles 1 produced by a resin molding machine 10 to collect these articles into a preset number of group units to successively accumulate them in an accumulator 3, a process (b) for successively feeding the molded articles to store them in a stocker 6, a process (c) for taking out at least one or more molded article 1 from the molded articles 1, 1, 1... accumulated in the accumulator 3 in time series order to place the same on a sample keeping tray 20, a process (d) for judging the quality of the molded article 21 to be inspected arranged on the sample keeping tray 20 in time series order and a process (e) for processing the molded products 1, 1, 1... of a group from which the molded product 21 to be inspected judged to be defective is taken out as defective articles are provided.
